One of the prime tourist attractions of Kullu is the Raghunath Temple which is dedicated to Lord Ram, one of the most important deities of Hinduism. This temple was constructed by Raja Jagat Singh in the year 1660 to ask for pardon for his sins. The king got an idol of Lord Ram from Ayodhaya and placed it in this temple.

Solang valley is a best tourist attraction in Manali.Located at a distance of 13 kms from Manali and half an hour journey.It offers a beautiful view of glaciers and snow capped mountains. Since the valley has fine ski slopes.The best time to visit Solang Valley is between the months of December to February.It also hosts a winter skiing festival. Naggar Town Located in, amidst breathtaking forested hills, the Naggar Castle,is a historical magnificent edifice. Naggar was the former capital of Kullu. It was founded by Raja Visudhpal and continued as a headquarters of the State until the capital was transferred to Sultanpur (Kullu) by Jagat Singh in 1460. Made of stone and wood, this palace served as the residence of Raja Sidh Singh of Kullu. It was built in AD 1460 in an impressive amalgamation of European and Himalayan architecture. Fireplaces, fitting staircases, and magnificent stone and wood works grace the castle's interiors. There are three small shrines within the premises, each holding immense religious importance. For art lovers, Naggar Castle has incredible art pieces on display. In the year 1978, the castle was converted into a rest house, and more recently into a heritage hotel that is run by Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC).  Worth-mentioning are the paintings of Nicholas Roerich- the famous Russian painter. As souvenirs, you can take home traditional items like wall hangings, coasters and artefacts bearing imprints of Roerich's paintings from here.

Rohtang connects the Kullu Valley with the Lahul and Spiti valleys - Himalayan Ranges, India. Rohtang Pass  is 52kms, From Manali on highway to Keylong/Leh. It offers a panorama and spectacular mountain view. The pass is open from June to October each year although trekkers can cross it earlier. It is a gateway to Lahaul Spiti, Pangi and Leh valley just as Zojila pass is a gatway to Ladakh. Khardungla pass the ‘Highest Jeep able road in the World’, about 18000 feet sea level and rohtang pass is 13000 feet, a lofty mountain pathway which is visited by tourists during summers. On descending to Manali, halt at the Rahalla falla ,Gulaba and Solang valley. The Magnificent views and natural beauty are a never – ending source of delight. Also halt at Marhi,and return you can see Solang Velly . Rohtang Pass is known for skiing and trekking activities. There are a beautiful sight of glaciers, peaks and Chandra river flows down in the Lahaul valley. Slightly to the left are the twin peaks of the Geypan. During summer(mid June to October) regular buses ply between Manali-Keylong/Darcha, Udaipur, Spiti and Leh. Rohtang Pass is best visit able between May/June to October/November. Hadimba Devi Temple in Manali is located in the middle of the forested areas of the Dhungiri Van Vihar and is also famous as the Dhungiri temple. The 15th-century Hadimba Temple was built to commemorate Hadimba Devi, from the Indian spiritual epic Mahabharata.This four-story wooden temple is dedicated to Hidimba Devi, a ‘Rakshashi’ in the epic Mahabharata. Trailing paths of dark forestsand dells of whispering deodars forms the backdrop of this popular temple. Located temple about 2 KM from Manali and time will take about 5 minutes by cab.

Ridge medan Shimla | Christ Church Shimla

The Ridge medan Shimla is a large open space, located in the heart of Shimla, the capital city of Himachal. The Ridge medan is the hub of all cultural activities of Shimla. It is situated on the Mall Road, which is the famous shopping center of Shimla.
